Alex Wilson

Alex Wilson is one of the UK’s foremost keyboard players.  He has worked with artists as diverse as Tito Allen, Tito Gomez, Adalberto Santiago, Camilo Azuquitar, Marc Anthony, Cheo Feliciano, Jocelyn Brown, Courtney Pine, Hugh Masakela, Roberto Pla and Snowboy.  His production career is equally diverse from producing reggaeton tracks with MC Magico to writing the TV theme tune to Channel 4’s How to Look Good Naked, providing music for the series ‘24’ and Sky Sports, to writing arias for the Royal Opera House and the salsa theatre score for The Wedding Dance.  With six solo albums to his name including salsa hits Show Me, Ain’t Nobody and R&B Latino and leader of his twelve piece Salsa con Soul Orchestra, Alex has firmly established himself in the world of Latin Music and beyond.

Alex was born in the UK and was brought up in Sierra Leone, UK, Austria and Switzerland.

Lee Knights

Salsa Dancer, Qualified Salsa Instructor, Performer/Choreographer, Promoter, Dance Writer & Journalist
Lee Knights is an experienced, qualified (International Dance Teachers’ Association) salsa instructor, dancer and event organiser.  She is passionate about teaching salsa -  liberating - as the Cubans say, your personal “sabor” or flavour - as a path to creative self expression. Lee is founder of www.londonsalsascene.co.uk & the UK Salsa Times, a unique independent website and newsletter.  She is also founding partner of Carnival de Cuba, London’s biggest Cuban festival and single-handedly managed marketing & PR for the event in both 2005 and 2006, resulting in saturation coverage in the national & local press and media and an attendance of 90,000 people.  Lee teaches teaches classes at her own salsa clubs in London and works as an instructor at major salsa weekend breaks.  Her other work includes private lessons, staging corporate events and private parties, PR to the salsa world, and workshops for special needs, young offenders, arts, corporate, schools and charity groups. Lee writes for leading dance, music and publications as editor and journalist.
