"Thanks so much for the wonderful Cha Cha Cha workshop at Pontins (Fiesta Cubana, Friday 18th – Monday 21st October, Brean Sands Resort, Somerset) your enthusiasm and energy was contagious. It made so much sense and I am on the journey, it is official I will never make a good accountant, but, hopefully, one day I might be a good dancer. So lovely to meet like minded women, you are a breath of fresh air and an inspiration."
Sharon Krause - student of Lee Knights workshop
I've read the book and think that this has to be a dancers bible. This gives you all the tools you need to help you finding and understanding the rhythm in most of the music we dance
to. I think once you have read this book you will listen to every song you already know different, as if you have just learnt a new language. In colour and not black and white.
Well done Alex and
Robert Charlemagne - Salsa Nation

"If anyone can offer the salsa dancer a clear link between the dance and the music, it's Alex Wilson. His string of hits – favourites on dance-floors throughout the world – are down
not just to his deep theoretical understanding, but also to a spot-on instinct as to how the music communicates to the listener or dancer."
Alister Sieghart - Salsa DJ & Organiser of Salsa Tent, Glastonbury Festival
I thoroughly enjoyed the "Find the Rhythm" sessions at Brean Sands. It was fascinating to get an insight into how a musician understands the music and compare it to how I as a dancer understand the same music.
Tung Mac - workshop participant Pontins Salsa Weekender
“Every student of dance must read this, and every professional must add it to their library.”
Ansell Chezan - Fellow & Examiner UKA, Chairman Latino/Caribbean, Committee IDO, Vice President IDO ENGLAND
Hi Alex really enjoyed the workshops at Brean, found it really interesting for example your explanation of how the instruments change during the Montuno
Jon Wright - workship participant Pontins Salsa Weekender
"Reading Find the Rhythm! is like seeing in colour instead of monochrome.....even as someone with musical training this has opened up a whole new world to me, and made
an impact on my dancing. To anyone who wants to dance 'in colour' I really recommend this book."
Cressida Childs - Director of Club Cubana, (UK's First Salsa Weekender)
“Find the Rhythm is a total expression of the passion both Alex and Lee for salsa as a dance and music genre. It's enough to make any Latino very proud.”
Elder Sanchez - Founder of Salsateca and one of the UK pioneers of salsa dance in the UK
“Any tool that helps dancers match the dance to the music is worth its weight in gold, and Alex is the man to teach it...”
